A self-supporting system is a system which integrates the shelf as a supporting structure of the whole construction and its auxiliary systems. This integration equals a significant cost-time reduction.

All storage systems i.e. palletised racking, compact, dynamic, etc. can be converted into a self-supporting system by adding the appropriate elements to support the façade outside finish, as well as the cover and the rest of the installations and accessories required for the correct operation of the construction.

The design includes the typical features of a base storage system, as well as the features needed for specific external influences that vary depending on the geographical location of the project and on the construction itself, such as wind, snow, earthquakes and the specific needs generated by every equipped auxiliary device.

As a result, a compact structure is obtained with commonly used handling automatic systems. Factors, such as immediate good control, are as relevant as safety and optimum use of the available space.
