During the 17th and 18th of May, a business meeting was held to celebrate ATOX 20th Anniversary. This was a great chance to exchange ideas, analyze the market development and to introduce our new products and improved tools.

With the aim of bringing about team work and mutual understanding and under the leadership of Joaquin Valdés, Sports Psychologist, member of the staff of FC BARCELONA B, we also enjoyed group activities where we shared ideas and improved communication skills.

During this new SIL EXHIBITION (SALON INTERNACIONAL DE LA LOGISTICA), which took place in Barcelona between the 7th and 10th of June, ATOX showed again its leading position and adaptability facing today's environment, where new challenges and competitiveness are key words. ATOX presence at SIL is part of our constant learning, one of our main aims, which allows us to go ahead concerning our customers' needs and to offer a more efficient service.

ATOX, together with other local companies, represented Asturias in the Spanish Pavilion at EXPO CAPAC, which took place in Panama between the 15th and the 19th of September, 2010. Having attended this exhibition has made ATOX presence in Panama even stronger, though a significant percentage of our production was already aimed to that market, where we have been operating for more than 20 years.

ATOX has been one of the participant companies in FILDA (International Fair of Angola), multisector exhibition which was held in Luanda between the 20th and the 25th of July, 2010. This fair was attended by political and economic authorities, as well as the whole local business community. With this participation, ATOX reinforces its competitive position in international markets.

The 2nd International Metal Forum was held in Gijón between the 1st and the 3rd of June, 2010. The main aim of this Forum is to create a network of international business relationships between local metal sector companies and companies and institutions from more than 45 countries all over the world. Apart from being an exhibitor and having attended the arranged meetings, ATOX invited to its installations different foreign companies which were interested in establishing cooperation agreements.

Atox has again attended the SIL EXHIBITION (SALON INTERNACIONAL DE LA LOGISTICA), with the value-added of doing so together with the most representative companies and institutions in the Principality of Asturias, improving this way the synergy of team work and contributing to the common effort. This year, Mr. José Blásquiz, ATOX President, has been awarded for his contribution to the logistic sector, having dedicated his professional career to this field, always aiming at its internationalization and professionalization.

Aware of the decisive role that commercial promotion plays in international business relationships, Mr. José Blásquiz, ATOX President, visited the Dominican Republic, Panama, Mexico and Cuba between April 9th and April 20th, 2010. He travelled together with the asturian institutional and business delegation and the common aim of making cooperation and relationships between these countries easier at all levels.

As in previous years, the International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition (SIL), which has taken place from June 2nd to June the 5th at Barcelona’s FIRA, has meant a great opportunity to show the visitors how the singularity of our management model, based on customer satisfaction and flexibility, has made ATOX become one of the leading Companies in this sector.

Mr. José Blásquiz, Atox President, attended the Conference on ‘ Central America Countries Trade Promotion’ organized by Asturex.

In this Conference, Mr. Blásquiz shared ATOX experience in the area with mor e than 40 present businessmen, since ATOX presence is Central America market is already remarkable.

On April 23rd ’09, the launch of CEDYPA took place. CEDYPA is the Circle of Businessmen, Directors and Professionals of the Principality of Asturias, a business association that has been developed in Asturias thanks to the initiative of several businessmen, and among them, our President, Mr. José Blásquiz.

CEDYPA is created with the aim of being a meeting point where to exchange opinions, to get information and to contribute to the improvement, quality and spread of the resources and means that will help to develop the Members’ activities.

This was the purpose of the Round Table that took place in April 1st ’09 and that Mr. José Blásquiz, president of ATOX attended. It was organized by ‘La Nueva España’ newspaper and Jovellanos Chair from University Extension.

Included in the series ‘Against crisis’, in this conference ATOX contributed with its experience and position about how to face the present economic situation, what the competitiveness problems mean for Companies in Asturias and how to improve the level of competitiveness.

The clear exporting vocation that ATOX has always shown, has been reinforced by the participation in different Trade Missions during the last six months of 2008: Chile, Russia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates, all of them organized by Asturex (Foreign Trade Promotion Society of the Principality of Asturias).

In those Trade Missions, we have discovered the sector’s opportunities in different areas and started business relationships that will undoubtedly make our presence stronger in international market.

ATOX has once more attended the SIL Exhibition that this year has celebrated a special edition due to its 10th Anniversary. His Majesty, King Juan Carlos I has honoured us with his presence in the inauguration.

Again the Exhibition has been a total success for ATOX thanks to our awareness about our customer needs. Our main aim is to give the best service and this takes us to the constant research and development of new solutions that make us achieve a leading position in the Storage Systems Market.

The president of Atox, Mr. José Blásquiz, handed over the trophy to the best goalkeeper of the season, Roberto, player of the Sporting Football club, during the I Cope Asturias Sports Event 2007. Atox collaborates actively in the promotion of the sports, as both, Atox and sports, share the same values: responsibility, effort, teamwork and perseverance. .

The participation of Atox in the last edition of the SIL (International Logistic Saloon), held in Barcelona last June, has been once again, an excellent opportunity to introduce to the market and the professionals our novelties in the racking systems and offering them an exclusive service based on the mutual collaboration with the customer in order to study and understand his necessities and come up with a tailor-made solution fore each customer.

The International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition (SIL), where our President, Mr. José Blásquiz Moreno participates as a member of its Organizing Committee, will hold its 9th edition in the month of June. At the exhibition, Atox shall introduce its commitment to constant development, professionalism, dynamism and capacity to adapt to every client’s needs.

The International Commerce Exhibition that is held every year at the city of Panama is a general fair that has established as one of the most prominent fairs in Latin America.
